Snowgrave, First of the Frost Giants is an Ascension-original world boss, live on Vol'jin July 18, 2026. A howling wind screams from Winterspring's peaks — climb into the icy cavern near coordinates 63.4, 81.2 and face a completely custom map, models, and mechanics designed for 40-player raids.
Unlike Classic remakes, Snowgrave is a totally original fight: dodge falling stalactites, frigid AoE, and columns of pure ice while frost-giant adds patrol the path to his lair. Fail to prepare for the elements and you risk becoming another frozen monument.
Location — Winterspring Cavern
Travel to the furthest reaches of Winterspring. The path to Snowgrave's lair is riddled with chilling traps and frost giants empowered by his presence. Open-world spawns support contested PvPvE tagging under Hybrid Risk rules.

Encounter Mechanics
Snowgrave yells telegraph heavy frost phases — expect Avalanche raid-wide damage, ground freeze zones, and sleep/slow effects. Bring frost resistance consumables, spread for AoE, and assign add control on empowered frost giant patrols.
Two tanks for add swaps, three healers for sustained frost damage, one Support (Guardian Inspiration / Stormbringer Winds). Ranged DPS handle stalactite dodges; melee need defensive cooldowns during burst windows.
