Free Launch Rewards for Every Player

Every new Conquest of Azeroth player receives the Master Warchest and Vanity Sync bundle for free on their first character. Claim them when you create your first hero on Vol'jin — rewards are redeemable account-wide after initial claim.

The Master Warchest provides starter gear, consumables, and convenience items to accelerate your first levels. Vanity Sync unlocks cosmetic and transmog features so you can customize appearance early.

These rewards were announced in the official launch video and require no shop purchase. CoA is free to play — the bundle is a launch celebration gift, not a paywall.

How to Claim

Install the Ascension launcher from ascension.gg, create a free account, select Conquest of Azeroth, and create your first character on Vol'jin. Launch rewards appear through the in-game mail system or reward interface on first login — check your mailbox and inventory immediately.

After claiming on one character, send or apply account-wide vanity unlocks to alts through the standard Ascension account reward flow. See our Start Playing guide for step-by-step launcher setup.

What Is Inside

Master Warchest contents include level-appropriate starter gear, bags, consumables, and travel aids tuned for CoA's expanded starting zones. Exact items may receive balance updates — treat the chest as a head start, not permanent best-in-slot gear.

Vanity Sync enables expanded character customization: new hair colors, skin tones, markings, and racial variants announced at launch. Pair with the Character Customization guide for full options.
