Character Customization

New character customization in Conquest of Azeroth — hair colors, skin tones, markings, racial variants, and Vanity Sync launch rewards.

Expanded Appearance Options

Conquest of Azeroth launched with hundreds of new customization options at character creation and through the Vanity Sync bundle. Options include new hair colors, skin tones, facial markings, and racial variants that let you fully embody your chosen class fantasy.

Unlike retail WoW's barbershop-only changes, CoA emphasizes identity at creation — your 21-class hero should look distinct from vanilla races while staying lore-appropriate to Expanded Azeroth.

Vanity Sync and Transmog

Every new player receives Vanity Sync free at launch, unlocking cosmetic and transmog features account-wide after first claim. See the Master Warchest guide for redemption steps.

Transmog and appearance systems integrate with immersive gear drops — creatures drop gear they wear, and Vanity Sync lets you preserve favorite looks while upgrading stats.

Tips for New Characters

Preview all options at character creation — class choice is permanent per character but appearance can be adjusted with Vanity Sync unlocks. Match markings and colors to your spec fantasy: dark tones for Necromancer, radiant golds for Sun Cleric, storm blues for Stormbringer.
